“The National Wildlife Centre in Liverpool made the perfect backdrop for our green roof workshop, the location clearly inspired a already enthusiastic Dusty and John, who were able to walk around the centre and point out possible plants and substrates we could use on our green roof project.
The course was a perfect mix of practical and theory, with question and answer sessions spilling into breaks and lunchtime. Dusty and John are very approachable and ‘down to earth’ and gave me the encouragement to use substrates local to me, suggesting lots of things I could try with my particular project.
The CD is an excellent resource for building small scale green roofs, and combined with the mini-roof we made on the course, I am confident I can build my green roof, and go on to build others too!”
