A two day intensive course including both theory and practical elements.

Eco-shed of the Month – Norris Bank School, Stockport

This small eco-shed is in a school in Stockport. The inspiration for the roof was Jane Sebire, a photographer who takes pictures for various gardening and landscape magazines. Her son goes to the school in question.A lovely project and we defer to Jane’s description of the shed and it’s impact, not ours.

Green Roof Plant of the Week – Wild Thyme

Wild thyme is a native perennial that forms a scented cushion or mat of pink flowers. It can be found in a variety of dry grassland habitats from in chalk to heaths to cliffs to dunes.

Green roof plant of the week – Chicory

Chicory is real beauty – as a plant of dry and infertile soils, it can be found on wastelands, dunes, roadsides and dry meadows. These qualities make it ideal for using on a green roofs.
